Misti (Ferdinand Mifliez) 1865-1923
Born, raised and educated in Paris, Misti was a true Parisian and as such, he depicted life in Paris flawlessly. Misti was first trained as an industrial designer, and was influenced to make posters while working at the printing house, Chaix. He made his first poster in 1893 and later became one of the busiest posterists of his time, following in the footsteps of his mentor, Jules Cheret.
